The Issuing Trust

The Custodians of Sacred Ground

A legally constituted religious and charitable society — independent, transparent, and accountable.

Who Issues the Guardianship?

Guardians of Magdala is operated by Migdal Heritage Kenya Ltd., a registered entity in the Republic of Kenya. The organisation exists for one purpose: to protect the sacred ground of Migdal and connect believers worldwide to the birthplace of Mary Magdalene.

Every guardianship is issued in the name of the Trust. Every unique identifier is recorded in the Trust's Registry. Every certificate bears the Trust's seal. The Trust is the permanent, institutional guarantor of your connection to sacred ground.

Our Commitments

Transparency

The Registry is public. Anyone can verify a guardianship at any time. Our financial reports are available to donors.

Permanence

The Trust is legally structured to outlast its founders. Guardianships are issued in perpetuity — your connection endures beyond any individual.

Stewardship

Funds raised through guardianships support land stewardship, archaeological preservation, and the charitable mission of the Trust.

The Land We Protect

The Migdal archaeological site sits on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee, approximately 6 kilometres north of Tiberias. It encompasses:

  • A first-century synagogue — where Mary Magdalene would have worshipped
  • The Magdala Stone — the oldest known depiction of the Temple menorah in a synagogue
  • A harbour and marketplace from the time of Jesus
  • Multiple mikva'ot (Jewish ritual baths)

The site was discovered in 2009 and has since become one of the most significant archaeological finds in modern Israel. Protecting this ground means protecting physical evidence of the world Jesus and Mary Magdalene inhabited.

Be Part of the Trust

Every Guardian strengthens the Trust's ability to protect sacred ground. Your guardianship is not just a certificate — it is a vote for preservation, a declaration that this ground matters.
